Formal or Informal?

I've read an essay named "Mother Tongue", and I found that there is a same situation in my life. I do use different phrases between family/friends and formal situations. It is just like my two introductions which I've posted. Initially, I may not use academic words or glossary in normal life speech. Moreover, grammatical well-fixed sentences are hardly found, either. I think we all have a kind of speach system which controls ourselves speaking, and it makes formal and informal situations difference. However, no matter what words we are using, communicating with each and making the others understanding are most important. Do you think so?

  1. I do not think it is only about understanding. Sometimes the way of speaking can also gives out the personalities. What it gives out might not be ture, but the first impression is alway important.
